As the holiday season approaches, we often reflect on the many blessings in our lives. Many of us will gather with family and friends for delicious meals and cherished time together in our homes.
The St. James's Holiday Gourmet Food Sale is being held November 17-18. The Sale helps the church raise money for Food Force. St. James's Food Force, for those of you who are not familiar with this ministry, is a group of volunteers who prepare food in the church kitchen for homeless and low-income people who attend the Freedom House Conrad Center meal site. This is a very important ministry in our church and for those we serve in our community.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the pick up of Sale items on November 17th from 6:30-8:30, and on November 18th from 9-12. This is an easy volunteer opportunity, with a small time commitment for the impact it could have on a person's life.
